Besides the routine brain and spinal surgery, NNC will provide specialized neurosurgical procedures such as :
- Precision Microsurgerical procedures to treat intracranial aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation, deep-seated tumors of the brain and spinal cord, extra cranial-intracranial bypass for stroke prevention.
- Endoscopic Surgery for third ventriculostomy and intraventricular tumors.
- Surgery for intractable epilepsy.
- Surgery for movement disorders.
- Deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease and intractable pain
- Paediatric Neurosurgery.
- Trauma Centre for Head and spine injuries.
- Complicated spine surgery
- Endovascular treatment for Aneurysm, AVM, thrombolysis of cerebral arteries
PAEDIATRIC NEUROLOGY
Areas of neurological treatment that are critical for children yet are unavailable, especially to the poor, that NNC plans to bring in, are:
- Management of Intractable Pediatric Epilepsy

- Pediatric Neuro-oncology with a dedicated Medical Oncology

NEUROPSYCHIATRY
The following condition will be treated in NNC:
