IPD

Patients can be classified in three categories depending upon the mode of admission.
  • Patients referred by the Department of Emergency Medicine.
  • Referred patients from Doctors / TPA/ Corporates.
  • OPD patients requiring admission as advised by the Consultants.

The patient or his/ her nearest relative will be required to fill in the Admission Consent/ Form and deposit the required amount to complete the registration process. After that the patient or his/ her nearest relative will be issued 2 visitors’ passes. The accepted mode of payment is by Cash/Credit Card/Debit Card.

All emergency admissions are routed through the Department of Emergency Medicine. Patients can be admitted round the clock for 365 days.

Corporate patients must carry all documents, including doctor’s advice letter, letter of credit, ID card and medical treatment book. Mediclaim policy holders need to bring policy papers/TPA cards and any one address proof.

 

NNC offers different categories of beds depending on the condition and requirement of the patients:

Critical Care

  • Neuro ITU (12 bedded dedicated Neuro Intensive Therapy Unit).
  • State of The Art 20 Neuro ITU Beds

  • Neuro HDU (5 bedded dedicated Neuro High Dependency Unit).
  • Neuro Isolation ITU (2 bedded dedicated Neuro Isolation Intensive Therapy Unit).

 

General Ward (58 bedded dedicated Neuro ward owned by Peerless Hospital and managed by NNC)

  • Non-AC Double bedded rooms.
  • Non-AC Single bedded rooms.
  • AC Double bedded rooms.
  • AC Single bedded rooms.

All required medicines are to be purchased from the Peerless Hospital pharmacy which is open 24 X 7.

  • Patients are discharged between 2 pm and 4 pm.
  • Mediclaim/TPA Patients discharge will depend upon the approval. 
  • The accounts need to be settled against the final bill and all remaining payable amounts must be cleared on the day of discharge.
  • Enquiries about the patient's interim bill can be made from the Admission & Discharge Counter between 10:30 am and 12:00 noon & 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm every day.
  • At the time of discharge, fully computerized bills are provided with day-wise details of charges for room rent, doctors’ fee, OT charges, medicines, service charges and other expenses incurred.
  • Payments can be made by cash/ credit card / debit card.
  • The bed charge will have to be paid in full even if the patient is admitted in the hospital for less than 24 hours. (Minimum 2 hours).
  • Bed charges will remain the same irrespective of whether food is taken from the hospital or not.
  • During treatment if the patient is shifted to a bed of higher category from a lower category or vice versa, all charges for the investigations, operations etc. will be charged at par with the higher category.
  • Online Payment, Google Pay, Phone Pe, Other UPI Payment Methods. 
  • For Patients admitted in NNC- ITU/ HDU, only 2 visitors (next of kin) are allowed inside during the visiting hours from 4:00 PM. to 5:00 PM every day.
  • For Patients admitted in Nazrul Ward (Neuro-General Ward) visitors are allowed inside during the visiting hours from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM. to 6:00 PMevery day.
  • Children below 12 years are allowed only on Sundays and Holidays during visiting hours between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. They are not allowed in any Intensive Care Unit.
  • A 24-hour special pass is provided only for single rooms. The pass is issued at the time of admission.
  • One attendant pass is provided for twin sharing cabins from 9am–7pm at the time of admission.
  • NOTE: Due to Covid, Visiting Hours are as follows : MORNING - 11:00AM - 11:30AM (ONLY 1 VISITOR/PATIENT) & EVENING: 04:00PM-05:00PM (ONLY 1 VISITOR/PATIENT)
